A spectacular antique Art Deco cluster ring adorned with a striking green square step cut emerald bezel set in the centre, weighing approx. 1.7ct. It’s complemented by a halo of ten bright old mine cut diamonds with SI 1 clarity – H colour, approx. 1.5ct total.
Emerald is the birthstone of May. The Romans considered it to be the sacred stone of the goddess Venus and was said to preserve love and provide hope. Its natural green colouring also makes it a stone of springtime and is associated with eternal love and faithfulness.
The gallery is crafted in platinum and features milgrain edging and split shoulders leading into a grooved band. It’s a glorious statement piece, dating to the 1920s with a dazzling collection of precious gems on top.
We recommend you insure for £6,300. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
